Once again, the Y-kitchen proved that kitchens - especially cooking islands - are the central communication platform in the house. Ballerina presented the Y-kitchen for the first time at the in-house exhibition 2016. It was presented to international audiences in January 2017 at LivingKitchen in Cologne. The kitchen, which was developed in collaboration with the Berlin designer Michael Hilgers, created a great deal of enthusiasm among all viewers. The cleverly chosen form combines design and communication in one and represents a real innovation. With the now awarded "Winner" award in the "Kitchen" category, the innovation of the Y-kitchen has once again been recognized. The trend to dissolve the classic fitted kitchen into mobile units and to integrate these as individual elements into the living space concept is becoming increasingly stronger. It is therefore a logical consequence to dissolve the familiar rigid hardware forms into new mobile units. Ballerina is also launching the new TakeAway development on the market. The pull-out divides into two parts and becomes removable, a portable, mobile storage instrument that can be carried wherever the contents are needed. TakeAway is stackable and thus a new high-quality, elegant form of the historic box. With the award "Winner" in the category "Kitchen" the innovation TakeAway has been recognized once again.
